About Silver Class Ubud

More Than a Workshop. A Personal Ubud Experience.

Silver Class Ubud was created around a simple idea: travelers should have the chance to experience Bali by making something themselves — not just buying another souvenir.

The Story Behind the Experience

Meet Dewa.

Dewa works directly with travelers visiting Bali, helping them discover experiences that go beyond the usual sightseeing itinerary.

Through working with guests from different countries, Dewa has seen that travelers often remember the moments when they actually participated in something — not only the places they visited.

That idea is part of the reason Silver Class Ubud focuses on a hands-on experience. Guests are invited to slow down, work with the material and create something they can take home from their time in Ubud.

Dewa's role is not to present himself as the silversmith. His role is to help guests discover and enjoy the experience, while the actual jewelry-making process is guided by the workshop team.

A Local Perspective

Helping travelers experience Bali differently.

For Dewa, a good Bali experience is not only about getting from one attraction to another.

It is also about meeting people, trying something new, understanding a little more about local life and going home with a story to tell.

Silver jewelry making fits naturally into that idea. Instead of simply purchasing a finished piece, guests spend time creating one themselves.

The important part is the experience.
The finished jewelry becomes something tangible that reminds you of the time you spent making it in Ubud.

Why Silver Class Ubud

We want you to leave with more than a souvenir.

The idea is simple: give travelers enough time, guidance and freedom to make something personal during their stay in Ubud.

01

Hands-On

You participate in the making process instead of simply watching a demonstration.

02

Personal

Your jewelry can reflect your own idea, style or memory from your time in Bali.

03

Memorable

The piece you take home carries the memory of the process and the experience behind it.

Inside the Workshop

From silver to something you can wear.

The workshop is a practical experience where guests can follow the transformation of silver through several stages of the making process.

Depending on the design, the process can involve shaping, hammering, soldering, refining and polishing.

The workshop team guides participants through the process, making the experience accessible even if it is their first time working with silver.

Important to Know

Silver Class Ubud is a shared workshop.

The regular silver class is designed as a shared experience. Guests from different bookings may participate in the same scheduled session.

This is particularly important for smaller bookings. When your group has fewer than 10 participants, especially during high season, you should expect that other travelers may join the same session.

We prefer to make this clear before booking so guests know exactly what kind of experience to expect when they arrive.

Regular class = shared workshop. If you need an exclusive session for your own group, contact us before booking and we can check whether a private arrangement is available for your date.

Our Approach

Keep it real. Keep it personal.

We don't want the experience to feel like another activity that you simply tick off your Bali itinerary.

Take your time. Ask questions. Try the tools. Make mistakes. Refine your design. And enjoy the moment when the piece finally starts looking like something you can wear.
